
Refund & Cancellation Policies
A legal disclaimer
This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms under which payments made through the AlphaNifty mobile application and website (“Platform”) may be refunded or cancelled. By using the Platform, you agree to the terms below.
1. Mutual Fund Transactions
AlphaNifty acts as a Mutual Fund Distributor.
All purchases, redemptions, switches, and SIP transactions are processed through respective
Asset Management Companies (“AMCs”) and their Registrar & Transfer Agents (“RTAs”).
Once a mutual fund transaction is submitted, it CANNOT be cancelled by AlphaNifty.
This includes:
Lumpsum purchase
SIP instalment
Switch orders
Redemption requests
STP/SWP transactions
Processing, cancellation, and refunds (if applicable) are governed strictly by AMCs and SEBI regulations.
2. Refund of Mutual Fund Transactions
Since AlphaNifty does not hold or handle investor funds, no refunds are processed by AlphaNifty directly.
Refunds (when applicable) are handled by:
The respective AMC
The RTA
The investor’s bank
Common scenarios where refunds may occur (handled by AMC/RTA only):
Rejection of transaction due to incorrect details
Transaction submitted after cut-off time
KYC mismatch
Bank mandate failure
Technical rejection
AlphaNifty has no authority to approve or process refunds for mutual fund units or payments.
3. Subscription Fees / Platform Charges
If AlphaNifty charges fees for premium features, reports, or platform services (non-investment related), then:
Refunds are allowed only if:
A duplicate payment was made
A payment was deducted but service did not activate
Refunds are NOT allowed for:
Used services
Partially used subscriptions
User-initiated cancellation after service activation
Refunds for eligible cases will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.
4. Educational Courses / Webinars / E-books
Payments made for:
. Webinars
. Workshops
. E-books
. Digital content
are non-refundable once access is granted.
Refunds are permitted only if:
The user was charged but did not receive access
A technical error prevented content delivery
5. Cancellation of SIP Mandate
SIP cancellation must be done by the user within the Platform or through the AMC/RTA.
Key points:
Cancelled SIPs stop future instalments
Already-processed SIP instalments cannot be reversed
No refunds for executed SIP transactions
6. Technical Errors
If a payment was deducted due to a technical glitch but the transaction failed:
Refund will be processed by:
The bank
The payment gateway
The AMC/RTA (depending on stage of failure)
AlphaNifty will assist by sharing transaction details but cannot issue refunds directly.

8. Amendment to Policy
AlphaNifty reserves the right to modify or update this Policy at any time.
The updated version will be published on the Platform with an effective date.

AlphaNifty does not accept or hold investor funds.
All mutual fund transactions are executed through AMCs & RTAs.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by SEBI & AMC rules.
